CommentA brief flying visit to Qld to see family following state border reopening meant few opportunities to go birding.
On our return drive to Brisbane a brief pause at Gympie around midday provided this glimpse of a tentative bird emerging from the casurina. Fallen jacaranda blossom dots the lake surface.
