CommentThe honeyeater caught me by surprise early morning. A bit of a grab shot when i spotted him, however felt like I captured enough detail to ID. Identifying the bird was a challenge, who knew there were so many honeyeaters. I fairly confident on the ID I landed on after consulting the field guide, but happy to be corrected. The markings on the chin, the location and the eye colour were the determining features.
