CommentLearning to overexpose for dark coloured birds, this opportune moment caught me by surprise. I quickly adjusted the camera to what I had pre read as suggested settings, I was not comfortable with a high ISO let alone over exposing by 3 stops, but willing to learn. Whilst this image is not perfect, to me it is a stepping stone on how important it is to use these setting to get the shutter speed and detail required. A lot more practice and experience required on my part.
