CommentThe lake was very still on this late winter's afternoon as the group of avocets moved slowly across it feeding in the shallows. This gave a good opportunity for reflections. I particularly liked this photo for the way the group was composed, and in particular the drops of water on their bills, which caught the light and can be seen in the reflections.
