CommentHad been observing a pair of RBFWs for a couple of weeks and I was constantly amazed at the array of bugs/grubs brought back to their 'home' area for consumption. 'Home' is a stretch of rural fence line overgrown with clumps of tall grass and thistles. Also remarkable was that they would catch identical prey. The male bird had just returned with a tiny orb spider. The female upped the ante with this much larger juicy morsel.
