CommentThis egret was foraging for small fish at the edge of a natural tidal channel at Fox Lake, Robe. I took many photos of it but I didn't manage the shot that I envisaged which required a wider aperture so that I could make the algae covered rocks sharp. Alternatively it would have been good to have the egret sharp and the algae soft, but there was a very short distance between the egreat and rock. I was in two minds between either going for the landscape or fish-catching action. I look forward to getting back to Robe again to try to do better!
