CommentWhile in lock-down in Melbourne I have to satisfy myself with birds in the local neighbourhood and just try and get the best shot I can. This Laughing Kookaburra is on the hunt so it is sitting very still while it observes the pond below. That make them handy to photograph.
EquipmentCanon EOS 5D Mk IV, EF400mm f/4 DO IS USM +1.4x III
SpeedLite 580 EX II + Better Beamer.
Hand held.
1/400th sec at f/9 , ISO 400.
Processed with DPP4, PSE14 with Neat Image v8 plugin.
