CommentI feel this image shows good focal detail of the head and bill. The subject was most engaging repeatedly burying his head feeding in a Coral flower polyp then coming up for air, covered in pollen to check if I was still there. I selected the image as I feel it shows the bird in its natural way while also meeting the competition criteria. I did research many images to ensure natural colour in post edit. The background is subtle and I feel the bird is well framed.
