CommentPainted Honeyeater in amongst mistletoe in Acacia homalophylla (Yarran). The fruits of mistletoe are a major food source for these special honeyeaters. I like the blurred foreground (left) and the blurred background, particularly the shades of brown and green. Unfortunately I focussed on the wing of the bird and the head is just slightly out of focus.
EquipmentNikon D1H, with Nikon 80-400 f/5.6 zoom, at 400mm. f/6.7, 1/500 sec, ISO 400.
