CommentThe emu is always an interesting bird to photograph. This emu was taken at the Rockhampton Zoo Gardens, and I was fortunate to get close enough to obtain good head detail. The light was good, and with an appeture of f9.0 it allowed accurate and clear feather detail. It is a typical bad hair day look of an emu, and there is good engagement between the emu and myself. The colours are true and the image is in good focus.
