Black Swan

Black Swan (Image ID 41009)
CommentI was watching this Swan sifting along the edge of the lake. It was initially covered in shadows but a pocket of late afternoon sunlight came over and allowed me to capture a few shots. My aim was to get a close-up as water cascaded down the Swan's beak as it pulled up from the water. I like the detail, the droplets of water adorning the Swan's head and neck like diamonds, and the water trail connecting the beak to the spot where the Swan was submerged.
