CommentI set up my tripod next to the pond and tried my best to track the birds as they mostly were coming from the same direction. There were large numbers but it proved challenging to get sharp images as they were constantly diving and skimming the water, fast shutter speeds were a must and the sun was at my back for a little extra light.
