CommentI first saw this Willie Wagtail perched on an old wire fence in the Craigieburn Grasslands. Suddenly it took off in pursuit of an insect, and weaved in and out of the tall grasses until it finally caught its prey. The photo conveys its intensity of pursuit, beautiful fanned wingfeathers, and the sense of motion created by the partial blurring of the rapidly beating wings.
