CommentThis Stubble Quail was easiest to see when it put its head up to check for danger before disappearing into the samphire.
EquipmentCanon EOS 90D + 400mm f/4 DO, handheld. Manual, spot metering, f/5.6, 1/ 800 sec, ISO 320, -1 exposure compensation. Taken from the car. Processed with DPP4 & Photoshop Elements 15 with Neat Image 8.3.
