CommentThis year was the first time Pheasant Coucal was recorded in Carnarvon, well south of their current known range. I spent quite a lot of time trying to obtain photos to record this. Capturing one in flight showing the contrasting color of the spread wings was a must for me and getting one in the clear was a major problem. This shot was more distant than I had hopes for.
