| Comment | This Great Crested Grebe chick was having a lingering stretch in a quiet corner of Herdsman Lake, supervised by a parent bird. It was early morning, and in that particular spot of the lake the morning light, for a short while, is pretty much as lustrous as can be seen in this image | ||||||||||||||||||
