CommentSitting in a bird hide allowed a close up shot of this magnificent little bird. Fortunately, the bird was content to stay motionless long enough to allow for slow shutters speeds (in this case 1/160th sec) in the heavily shaded perching spot. The fine barring on the crown suggest this might be a juvenile.
