CommentThis little guy and has partner seemed to be looking for a suitable spot to build a nesting burrow. He has taken time out to survey the neighbourhood and is perched on rusty old bit of cable. It was a grey day in Melbourne and I was using a flash - so the shot shows a well eliminated bird against a grey background. A perfect backdrop for a colourful little bird.
