Conservation Status = Vulnerable

This species was misidentified as Shy Albatross x1 & Black-browed Albatross x1

The stunning yellow eyes distinguish the Campbell Albatross from the Black-browed Albatross and the Shy Albatross. The brow is also larger in the Campbell. They also have a darker underwing than that of a Black-browed. Other identifying features are:

- Charcoal grey ‘messy’ underwing, broader at elbow
- Pink bill, tipped pink
