CommentI was fortunate to arrive at the Western Treatment Plant just after high tide. Many birds were resting in the ponds preparing to head out to feed on mud flats. These Bar-tailed Godwit remained only about 5 minutes before flying off.
EquipmentCanon 5D Mark iv Canon 200-400 f4 iso 1600 - 1/3200 - f9 - 560mm - manual exposure - monopod Initially processed in Canon DPP 4, finished in Photoshop Elements CC with Neat Image as per process advised by Glenn Pure/Ian Wilson.
