CommentAfter initially hearing these cockatoos we managed to find them, and after approaching carefully they accepted our presence and allowed us a lengthy observation. There was a male and female with a juvenile male and they remained in the same tree for the duration of our observation which was about 20 minutes. The female actually took the oak cone from the juvenile.
