CommentThe big mouth-full is a star-fish species. Readily distinguished from Pacific Gull by the white apical spots and broad white tertial crescent on the folded wings and the red spot on the lower mandible at the gonys.
EquipmentCanon 5Ds + 600 mm f/4 III, hand-held.
Manual, spot metering, AI Servo AF with 4-pt expansion, f/5.6, 1/2500 sec, ISO 1250.
Processed using DPP4 and PSE14 with Neat Image plug-in.
