CommentOn our first visit we found the birds in shade necessitating high ISO exposures so we went back on another morning equipped with flash. This one was captured among mangrove roots in deep shade. There were still lots of sand-flies!
EquipmentCanon 5Ds + 400 mm f/4 DO II + 1.4x III extender + 600 EX-RT flash, hand-held.
Manual, partial metering, AI Servo spot AF, f/5.6, 1/200 sec, ISO 400, ETTL flash.
Processed using DPP4 and PSE14 with Neat Image plug-in.
