Western Bristlebird

Western Bristlebird (Image ID 27859)
Photographed byMark Davidson on Wed 27th Sep, 2017 and uploaded on Fri 13th Oct, 2017 .
CommentThis was one of a pair of Western Bristlebirds that I used to see on most mornings just after sunrise moving along a vehicle track then darting into the grass to emerge with insects and other invertebrates. The metadata says this bird was about five metres from me and it moved closer to the point I couldn't focus any longer. I lay in the sand and let it and its mate pass. I would like comments on noise reduction and general improvements to the technical and aesthetic aspects.
EquipmentOlympus OM-D E-M1 MkII, 300mm f/4 lens, 1/1000s, ISO 1600, f/7.1, handheld. Tonal adjustments and noise reduction in Lightroom (Topaz Denoise plug-in) following Glenn Pure's PP Top Tips. Cropped to suit site requirements and cloning of grass strand in Photoshop.
