| Comment | Uncommon, lucky find on my walk along a beach access track at Whitfords Beach dune system a young Black-eared Cuckoo (Chrysococcyx osculans) landed on a perch near me before flying down into the dune low vegetation. I managed a few shots before it disappeared. References (including the Bird Atlas) show very few Perth coastal records. Assistance in post editing kindly provided. | ||||||||||||||||||
