CommentThe Black Swan is a winter breeder. Both parents were aggressively protecting the young, reacting to any noise and movement. Note I have selected the key word 'juvenile' for this photo as young are included; this is not strictly correct as the ABG refers to juvenile as having the first non-downy plumage. However these fledglings are still downy young.
