CommentThis one took the better part of a morning and several hundred failed attempts to capture. I had noticed that Rock Doves were seeking seeds in the hay being fed to Black Buck in the Canberra Zoo and Aquarium. The Rock Doves constantly had to decide how close they could go the Black Buck which would sometimes swing their heads towards the Rock Doves and sometimes kick at them. This image captures a moment of tension between the male Black Buck and a Rock Dove. I used f/10 to gain sufficient depth for the Black Buck.
