CommentPlenty of these about but I only see them when I go out west and I just love their soft colours. This image taken in the scrub near the Picnic Train Historical Site in Broken Hill. I was observing a huge clump of saltbush and over 45 minutes or so it was visited by several Chirruping Wedgebills, White-winged and Variegated Fairy-wrens, a Redthroat, a female Red-capped Robin, a couple of Chestnut-rumped Thornbills, a Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, and this Singing Honeyeater; the latter providing the ony tolerable photo opportunity.
