Brown Honeyeater

Brown Honeyeater (Image ID 46808)
CommentThe brown honeyeater blends in with the flower pods, ever so covertly taking the nector from the flowers. I have noticed these birds love this tree and at the right time of day you can see quite a few of them going from flower to flower. The habitat is self is bush shrub on the outskirts of a lake. So inspired by this site each time I would walk past, I planted a couple of these trees on my verge, and 1 year later am enjoying the honeyeaters frequent visit.
