Zebra Finch

Zebra Finch (Image ID 46805)
CommentBeing a seed eater the Zebra finch needs to drink regularly. In this image they are cautiously waiting for a chance to drop down to a water source from the relative security of this small shrub. This stunted shrubbery is typical of the arid areas in Northern SA.and the birds will gather at any available water.
