Buff-banded Rail

Buff-banded Rail (Image ID 46411)
CommentThis part of Bribie island is a popular spot for Buff-banded Rails who inhabit the bushes adjacent to the walking track. Once you hear them ,it is a matter of time before they pop out from cover to walk along the side of the pathway before vanishing again. This image shows all of this adult birds colorations and features quite nicely.
