Tasmanian Native-hen

Tasmanian Native-hen (Image ID 46316)
CommentNormally so flighty, this Tasmanian Native-hen is obviously used to walkers along the river and although I\'d stopped, it approached me to continue checking me out. It provided me with a perfect opportunity to get a good close up. The light was exquisite and really highlighted the grasslands behind. And that eye - so striking!
