Dusky Moorhen, Eurasian Coot

Dusky Moorhen, Eurasian Coot (Image ID 46287)
CommentIt was the moment after the clashing of legs, both the Dusky Moorhen and Eurasian Coot retreated briefly, while flapping their wings and pufing up their chests for round 2. The birds could be seen eye-balling each other. The event was captured in continuous burst mode.

I find the pink and green of the water weeds complements the dark coloured birds. I am pleased to have captured the movement of water among the busyness of the weeds.
