Inspiring and Supporting Photographers of Australian Birds

Eurasian Coot

Eurasian Coot (Image ID 46273)
CommentI chose the challenge of dark bird/light background using a technique I learned from a well known Australian photographer\'s social media posts. With the teleconverter on my 500mm lens, I can only stop to f/8 so used exposure compensation to help get the shot. I\'m at point where I\'m not always getting the best shots, but I\'m practising and learning every time I go out.
I like the leading lines the wary Coot\'s wake has created too.
