Purple Swamphen

Purple Swamphen (Image ID 46140)
CommentThe Swamphen's pose in this photo is mesmerising. The sharpness of the image follows the spiralling of the bird's pose which directs the attention forwards first past the water droplets on the flank, then past the colourful chest feathers and finally up to the striking reds of the eyes and beak.
