Black-tailed Native-hen, Latham's Snipe

Black-tailed Native-hen, Latham's Snipe (Image ID 46104)
CommentFox Lake at Robe is the realm of Latham snipe in the summer and this snipe does not look impressed with the trespassing Black-tailed Native Hen. The Native hen looks like a female with light apple green bilkl. I like the interaction of the birds in this wetland setting.
