Black-tailed Native-hen

Black-tailed Native-hen (Image ID 46085)
CommentThese birds have a reputation for being nervous and difficult to approach, however this individual was pretty confiding. I was able to get quite close on this occasion and got some pleasing images. I chose this photograph from the batch because I liked this side on pose, and I think some of the colours in the background make for an interesting shot.
