Tasmanian Native-hen

Tasmanian Native-hen (Image ID 46042)
CommentThe TNH are so common across the whole of tasmania which makes you wonder what the population of Mainland rails and crakes might have been without the introduction of feral predators. They are common but cautious so I was pleased to be able to capture this image from my car of a bird feeding in the early morning.
