Dusky Moorhen

Dusky Moorhen (Image ID 45902)
CommentI have chosen this image as it was taken on a still day with the only disturbance being the moorhen tugging at the submerged pondweed as it fed. The image caught the splsh of the water as isolated droplets and there is good reflection of the bird in the water. The feathers are sharp and the eye has a highlight bringing life to the photo.
