Buff-banded Rail

Buff-banded Rail (Image ID 45888)
CommentHow fast to these rail birds run? Patience lying in the grass watching the Banded Rail make dashes to the bush area, finally was bale to get a reasonable shot. Whilst the feather detail is blurred it was the one reasonable shot I was able to achieve which demonstrated some action but retained the detail in the beak. I do not see them often but certainly think they an interesting bird.
