CommentImmature (1st year bird) male. Note pale yellow legs & remnant yellow gape.
EquipmentCanon EOS R5, Canon EF 500mm f4L IS II USM Lens. Ground-pod at 500mm, exposed at 1/250 secs, wide open at f/4.0 on ISO 12800 under exposing by 1 stop. Processed using DPP4 & Lightroom with Topaz De-Noise plug-in for noise reduction. No flash used (handheld torch) only so as to not overly disturb the bird and preference to keep the background foliage as dark as possible.
