Purple Swamphen

Purple Swamphen (Image ID 45737)
CommentI have entered this picture because it shows the environment surrounding the bird as well as the mass of bent reeds which the Swamphen had been busy bending and twisting to the appropriate angles which ensured a high perch over the surrounds. At the time there were about 6-8 swamphens squawking and carrying on all trying to outdo each other and their antics were funny to watch.
