Purple Swamphen

Purple Swamphen (Image ID 45698)
CommentI particularly like the light and tones in the setting of this image, along with the bird's focus on the weed between its huge toes. Whilst they may be common, I find Purple Swamphens to be both striking beautiful birds and enjoy portraying them to highlight their beauty and ancient charm.
