CommentTaken in the Mary Valley during a week camped on site. This photo is poor quality, but it does show the Bell Miner feeding on Lerps, and other Lerps can be seen on leaves in the photo. It was interesting to see how the bird used it's beak to drag the leaf into position under it's neck, in order to carefully remove the sugary coating off the insect.
EquipmentNikon D7000 - Tamron 70-300 mm Lens - ISO800 - f8 - spot exposure - spot focus.
