CommentI am entering this photo because it is one of my favourite osprey images. The fledgling has everything spread as it lands on the branch, showing the magnificent wings and tail feathers. The gaze is straight toward the camera, creating a moment between the bird and the observer. Because the day was cloudy I had used positive exposure compensation, resulting in a white background that puts all the attention on the beautifully spread wings.
