Comment | Flattering Feathers - Being a true exhibitionist, a juvenile male Satin Bowerbird dances around his bower to impress an interested female. By quickly flapping his wings, he demonstrates talent and passion, making him a suitable partner. Knowing this, he does not hesitate and displays all of angles-even the most flattering feathers. I have chosen this photo for the competition as it is one of my favourite intimate moments which I have captured during the year 2020. What makes the photo special for me is how the breeding display is vividly occurring in front of your eyes. It is also a rare yet beautiful moment in which the male displays all of his exotic feathers. | |||||||||||||||
