Eastern Whipbird

Eastern Whipbird (Image ID 44826)
CommentAfter 3 months of being confined to essential travel only due to COVID-19, Queensland relaxed its rules and allowed travel up to 250km. I escaped up to Lamington National Park, and as I was relaxing in the area where the "Birds of Prey" show usually happens this Whipbird was foraging about 3 metres away from me - showing no fear. I think that 3 months without human interaction ensured that the birds were a little more relaxed than I had previously encountered.
