CommentI chose this image as the spider provides a point of interest in the composition. Otherwise it would just be another bird on a stick image. The spider with all its little hairy legs and colourful body draws the viewers attention (poor spider! ) . I also liked the soft colours in the background created by the different flowers in my garden. I was lucky that the Fairy-wren chose a perch with no distractions in the background.
EquipmentCanon EOS 7D mark II ,Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM , Ext EF 2x III 1/800sec @ f/9 ISO500 focal length 600mm Spot metering. Tripod. Processed in Lightroom, Topaz De Noise AI and Photoshop to downsize and sharpen before saving file.
