Comment | I spent some time with an aggregation of feeding waders at the turn of the tide. Being the only place available in the vicinity gave excellent opportunity for up close observations till the tide dropped further and birds dispersed. I simply positioned myself and waited for the birds to come to me. I was so excited with this capture having seen the dis-membering of several crabs while in position. The crab in mid air while the bird retained a leg in bill, and all sharp. Such opportunities are rarely presented and I was very happy to get this. Certainly another of my best for 2020. | |||||||||||||||
