Comment | This is an area where there is a constructed wall to restrict the flow of water. It provides a small waterfall and is a regular feeding spot for several birds. Usually they catch small fish but occasionally a larger fish. On this occasion the Egret managed to spear one, stepped out of the water and proceed to re-adjust the fish to swallow it whole. The eye contact between the bird and fish adds to the story and long with the water drops made it one of may best images for the year. | |||||||||||||||
